本品为无色或黄色易燃液体，燃烧时具有特殊的类似樟脑的气味。纯品的沸点101.8℃，凝固点-11.9℃，比重（d420℃）0.8084℃，闪点70oF（闭环），自燃温度819oF，折射率（nD20）1.4052。微溶于水，与乙醇、乙醚、苯、氯仿、甘油和石油等互溶。它的水溶液对石蕊成中性。         3类危险品
